Didactic Organic Farm

The Didactic Organic Farm aims to show the importance not only of the considerable heritage of the different local ecosystems, but of those past values and teachings which were part of everyday life in a Farm. From here, the idea of a “School in the Farm”: the Church of San Bernardo turns into a didactic laboratory and the area all round becomes the place for educational itineraries for children, in contact with nature. Trails on horseback

The Farm Holidays offers the possibility to discover the mountains and the plain of Pisa through guided horse trails (the horses of the Farm are at guests' disposal), as an alternative to mountain-bikes or walks.

Nature and cultural trails

We offers guided eco-friendly trails to discover Calci, its landscapes, its own ecosystem, and its important monuments (Pieve Romanica, Certosa di Calci, Mills, Churches, Villages, etc.). You will walk on dirt roads away from the vehicular traffic, exploring the surroundings (Monti Pisani and the plain of Pisa, the Arno river, the sea, etc.) and getting to the city of Pisa.
Our Farm is situated in a prime location, far from the city's noise and bustle and surrounded by nature. It is a convenient point of arrival and departure to reach the most coveted tourist resorts (Pisa, Lucca, Firenze, Volterra, Versilia, San Gimignano, etc.).
